Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont
Tub-to-shower conversion in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.
A walk-in conversion made from the tub you already own. When the tub wall is too high to manage, we open the front and finish it as a low walk-through. The plumbing stays. The bathroom stays. Most installations are complete the same day.
The exclusive TubcuT installer for Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Based in Bedford.

Finished in a day
Most installations take about half a day. The shower is ready that evening.
No demolition
The tub and the plumbing stay. We do not rebuild the bathroom.
Fully reversible
The cutout is saved. The original tub can be restored.
Lifetime warranty
The manufacturer warrants The TubcuT for life.

How it works
Photographs first. The tub stays.
- 1
Begin with photographs
Email a few pictures of the tub, and the town. A family member is welcome to send them. We will tell you whether TubcuT is the right fit.
- 2
Installed in one day
We open the front of the tub and finish the edge so it holds water. This is not a plastic cover set on top.
- 3
A low, easy step
The threshold is about four inches, like an ordinary shower. There is no high wall to step over.

The difference
Built into the tub, not set on top of it.
For more than twenty years, The TubcuT has been shaped to the tub itself: watertight, with a low step.
The TubcuT
- Bonded into the existing tub
- Sized to that tub
- A threshold of about four inches
- Restorable, if the cutout is kept
A plastic insert
- A prefabricated piece, caulked in place
- A fixed size that may not suit the tub
- Often a lip at the opening
- Difficult to return the tub to its original form

Questions worth asking
What is a TubcuT tub-to-shower conversion?
The TubcuT is a section cut from the front of your existing bathtub and finished as a low, watertight walk-through, with a threshold of about four inches. The tub and plumbing stay in place.
Where does TubcuT Northeast install?
TubcuT Northeast is the exclusive TubcuT installer for New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. We are based at 1 Hardy Rd. #174, Bedford, NH 03110. Call (603) 488-2699, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
How long are you at the house?
One visit. Most installations finish in about half a day, and the shower is ready that evening.
Do you remodel the bathroom?
No. We work with the tub and plumbing already in place. The room is not taken down to the studs.
Will my tub qualify?
Most do. Fiberglass, acrylic, steel, and cast iron, including soaking tubs, whirlpools, and tubs set in tile. Photographs tell us whether yours qualifies.
Can it be reversed later?
Yes. If the cutout is saved, the bathtub can be restored to its original form.
Is this a cover that sits on the tub?
No. Those inserts are a fixed piece, sealed with caulk. TubcuT is cut and fitted to your tub, so the opening is the size you need.
Might insurance help?
Some health plans contribute toward a safer bath. Coverage is never assured. We will discuss it when you send photographs, and your plan should confirm.
